The Cancer Fund
Cancer is more than a diagnosis. It affects every part of a person’s life, physically, emotionally, and for many families, financially. The Cancer Fund is an initiative by Al Jalila Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Dubai Health, created to support patients in accessing treatment, at the time they need it most. Rooted in our “Patient First” promise, The Cancer Fund supports timely access to care, eases the burden on families, and allows patients to focus on what truly matters: their recovery.
Together with our partners and donors, we have seen the difference compassionate support can make. From funding treatment to supporting wellbeing throughout recovery, your generosity helps patients face cancer with strength, dignity, and hope.
The Child Fund

Diabetes Center
Set to open in the first quarter of 2027, the new Diabetes Center reflects the integrated academic health system’s commitment to delivering advanced, specialized diabetes care in alignment with the highest global standards. Spanning more than 5000 square meter —twice the size of the current facility—the center will enable Dubai Health to serve double the number of patients over the next ten years. Strategically located for easy access from across Dubai, it will offer patients a broad range of services and advanced therapeutic programs, elevating the comprehensive care experience. With the addition of specialties including cardiology, nephrology, and ophthalmology, the patient-centered facility will provide integrated treatment and prevention services, supported by the latest medical technologies and harnessing artificial intelligence to deliver a smooth patient experience, in line with Dubai Health’s ‘Patient First’ promise. The center has been made possible by the generous donations received through Al Jalila Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Dubai Health.
Al Jalila Foundation, a member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, was established by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai to position the UAE at the forefront of medical innovation.
Underpinned by 3 pillars, Al Jalila Foundation, funds ground-breaking research that addresses health challenges prevalent in the region; provides scholarships to nurture a home-grown generation of medical professionals; and supports medical treatment for individuals unable to afford quality healthcare.
